Your Data Security is Our Priority

We are following the best security practices

Lynx has developed a number of leading security features to ensure your data is safe and secure. Your data is your information that we protect for you and we do not sell or give your data to other businesses for commercial purposes.

Application Design

Users access their private and secure Lynx account with a mobile, tablet or desktop device. No data is stored locally on any device as it is all stored in our secure hosted environment.

User Authentication

Users are required to enter a unique user name and password to access their account. Two Factor Authentication (2FA) is an option available to each user for additional levels of security.

Password Policy

User passwords are required to be eight characters or longer and must contain 3 of the following 4 character types: Upper case letters, lower case letters, numbers, or special characters.

Application: Encryption in Transit

Every page within the entire Lynx application encrypts the data as it moves between your device and our hosted environment. Lynx uses TLS 1.2 / SSL SHA256 bit transport encryption.

Data: Encryption at Rest

All customer data including photos, documents, video, and data fields are encrypted when they are saved to storage. Lynx uses AES256 bit encryption at rest for all customer data.

Data Backups

Lynx is configured for ongoing real time backups of customer data in multiple physical data centers. In addition, each user can export their home inventory data to local excel and zip files.

Physical Data Centers

Lynx uses Amazon VPS Server as cloud hosting infrastructure provider. VPS Server is the world’s leading cloud provider and implements leading edge physical, logical, and process controls. Overview is here.

Ongoing Security Process

Lynx has implemented various best practice security processes including intrusion detection, patch management, and restrictions on data access to only authorized personnel.
